Bank House would often use the Pointon York portal to establish SIPPs in order to arrange pension transfers investing into high risk and unregulated investments in bamboo, carbon credits and loan notes.
Pension Transfers
The firm used trading names such as Bank House Corporate, Edgington Park Wealth or Mountbatten Wealth when arranging pension transfers.
Our latest victim had been advised by Mountbatten Wealth to transfer his pensions into a SIPP with Avalon Investment Services Ltd, which were later taken over by Rowanmoor.
Investments were arranged with ESRG Securities Services Limited (rebranded as B Plan Securities Limited), a company established in the Cayman Islands and conveniently associated with a UK business, the ESRG Group Ltd.
Needless to say, the firm failed to return their money and had no assets to cover any of the investments.
Take Care When Claiming Compensation
Rodee Limited, a firm involved with the investments, has offered a claims service via a well known firm of solicitors, which will assist with claiming back compensation.
When researching Rodee Limited we have discovered that the directors Stuart Milburn Macdonald Stobie, Johnathan Rehbein, David Garfield Evans, Anthony Hugh Copsey, Richard Leslie Cunningham and Johan Gouws were all directors at ESRG Group Ltd.
Please don’t just take our word for it – you should always make thorough investigations before embarking on any financial transaction – check it out yourself on companies house!
